April 7, 2020, 12.15pm - Las Vegas, NV; Inside the limo of Le’Andra Fury
Le’Andra Fury and Chan are in the back of the limo, Le’Andra is staring out the window at the nearly ghost-like town that Vegas has become; she is wondering just what this surprise that boss and tag team partner, Johnny Stylez, had for her. Le’Andra looked like Hell; her face was black and blue in a few spots and right at her hairline was a butterfly bandage where her forehead had been split open. Beside her, Chan was going on about how everything was closed down and that he wished he could have done some shopping while they were there and the clubs they could have gone to. Shopping and clubbing were the last things on her mind.; she wanted to be on a jet going back to home; she wanted to be in her own bed; mending, even though her home was a hot spot for the virus.
What one Earth do you think Stylez has for you? Chan looked over at Le’Andra; he winced as he took in her face. He understood why Le’Andra’s mother wasn’t thrilled with Le’ going back into wrestling; Le’s face was too beautiful to be covered in bruises and cuts. On my, Le’, you looked like a battered wife.
Well-- Le’ looked over at Chan and smiled. --technically it was my husband that did this to me.
I was literally shitting myself in the back while I was watching. Chan told her. Are you sure you two were in love? Because what I and the rest of the world saw, was not two people who were in love with one another.
Well, we are estranged. Le’ shrugged her shoulders and looked back out the window.
You sure looked estranged when you all were sucking face in the middle of the ring. Chan smirked and looked out his own window.
Le’ turned and looked at Chan, her pale flesh taking on a pink tinge in her cheeks. She hit him lightly on the shoulder. We weren’t sucking face.
Ouch, Le’ be gentle, you know I bruise easy. Chan said and rubbed his shoulder; then smirked and mumbled under his breath. If that wasn’t sucking face, I don’t know what was.
How about you just sit over there and hush. Le’ suggested with a chuckle.
Mhm. Chan went back to looking out the window; he had a smirk on his face. You forget I was in there with you all and the medics. I saw the way you two were looking at each other when you thought no one was looking.
Chan!
April 7, 2020, 12.35pm - Las Vegas, NV; Top of the World Restaurant at the Strat
The limo pulled to a stop in front of the Stratosphere, although the casino and hotel part were closed, the dining places were not. Chan looked up at the restaurant; he was excited, he had never been here and it’s one of the places he’s been dying to go. He had been hoping that OpW would bring them to Vegas so he could suggest it to Le’, but here they were guests of Johnny Stylez. The two of them started for the doors
I am so excited, Le’, I’ve always wanted to come here.
And all you have to do is deal with Johnny calling you Tink.
Mmm. Chan looked at her. He keeps it up and he could find himself bent over his desk like Madison. This caused Le’Andra to bust out laughing, the image alone. I’ll show him Tink.
You know he’s straight and married, right? And his wife could hurt you. Le added for emphasis, she really hated to see him get hurt.
Le’, honey, noodles are straight until they get hot. I’ve been that experimental phase for a few men. They stopped at the elevator and Chan pressed the button. All it takes is about 20 mins and they are at least gay for a day.
The elevator doors opened and they stepped in and turned around; Chan pressed the button for the top floor.
I love you, Chan, I really do. She smiled.
Oh my God, don’t say that. Are you trying to get me killed by your husband?
Grr, estranged husband. Le’ reminded him as the doors closed.
A few moments later the elevator doors opened and they stepped out, Le’ looked around the restaurant, looking for the Blue Haired One. After a moment, she saw him as well as who was with him and a dark somber expression came over her face.
Holy Vidar. She mumbled and invoked one of the old Gods by name.
Who? Chan asked beside her.
Silent God of Vengeance. Le’Andra explained, Chan was trying to learn more about her and her ways. But, never mind that. She pointed in Johnny’s direction. If this is his surprise, he can keep it.
Chan looked in the direction that Le’Andra was pointing in and saw what changed her mood. Her mother. Ylva Av’Ulves was sitting right beside Johnny hanging onto his every word with a smile. Le’ took a deep breath, this can’t be happening, there’s supposed to be an ocean between the two of them. She closed her eyes and after a moment she reopened them to find her mother still there.
Oh, holy Vidar. Chan echoed her comment. He turned to her. I don’t need to eat here this bad, Le’, we can still turn around they haven’t see--
Le’Andra, Doll. Johnny Stylez stood up and smiled a big smile. We’re over here.
Yes, I know. Le’ mumbled quietly causing Chan to snicker as they started over. She put a big smile on her face. What a pleasant surprise, Mother, what on Earth are you doing here?
Le’s mother stood up and they hugged and kissed on the cheek. Mr. Stylez invited me over. He thought it would be a nice surprise for you if someone from your clan was there for your big day.
Big day?
The Pay Per View, Doll. Johnny told her as she took a seat. He quickly moved behind her, playing the role of gentleman, and pushing her chair in. I thought your momma would love to see you in action and get that tag team gold.
Your boss is so sweet, Le-Le. Johnny took his seat next to Ylva and she reached over and patted him on the cheek causing Stylez to smile. You know, I was so worried with you coming over here by yourself, but John tells me that there is nothing to worry about. He’s even assured me that he will personally keep a close eye on you.
Great, two babysitters, that’s three less than what you had on me back home.
You needed five babysitters? Stylez looked at Le’Andra with a smile; he was trying to picture Le’Andra raising hell back in Norway. He’s always seen her quiet and demure, except for when she was in the ring; in the ring she was anything but that. Were you a Hellraiser?
Hellraiser is an understatement. Her mother laughed lightly. She was the ringleader, the stories that I could tell you.
But you won’t. Le’ cut in.
Oh, come on, Le’. I want to get to know you better. He looked at her mother. We’re all one big happy family here. He looked at Chan. Even Tink there.
There was this one time when she was sixteen. Her mother started.
Le’Andra looked around for a waiter and as soon as one passed by she grabbed him by the arm. Vodka shots and a White Russian please, and keep them coming.
Atta, girl, Le’. Johnny said with a smile. I’ll have the same.
April 7, 2020, 3.15pm - Las Vegas, NV; Skylofts at the MGM Grand
The door to the hotel room opened and Le’Andra walked in with one arm wrapped around Chan’s waist as he held onto her neck. Chan was shit faced; he wasn’t much of a drinker and he tried to keep up with the other three.
I am so not grown, Le’. His words were slurred. I thought I could drink. I was so wrong, Le’ He looked up into Le’s face. You're so pretty, Le’. Will you marry me?
You’re gay, Chan. She chuckled. Plus I am already married.
Estranged. Chan reminded her. We’re in Vegas, you can get a quick divorce and then we can get married. He remembered Stylez’ words as they walked over to his bed. Oh, my God, Le’ we can have Elvis marry us.
How about we discuss this when you’re sober? She let him drop onto the bed. If you still want to get married when you're sober, we’ll talk.
Yeah, we’ll tal-- And Chan passed out.
Le’Andra dropped on her bed and laid back and looked at the ceiling. Her mother was going to be here for the next week. She was going to fly back to New York with Le’Andra and look into a few hotels there. Le’ got up from her bed and made her way to the bathroom to take a nice relaxing bath. She was going to need it.
April 12, 2020, 2.45pm - New York, NY, 230 Central Park S # PH16
Le’Andra is sitting on the balcony overlooking Central Park admiring the clear blue sky. Chan took her mother out shopping and despite her mother’s protests, Le’Andra stayed behind. She needed a break from her mother. She was going to have to have a talk with John about his actions and not to do her any more favors when it comes to her mother. She closed her eyes and rubbed her temples with a sigh. Maybe he wasn’t aware of the relationship that she has with her mother? Maybe he didn’t know what it was like growing up as a clan’s firstborn, maybe he didn’t know how tight of a reign his mother had on her; he didn’t know that she felt like a bird in a gilded cage. Le’ would hold her tongue until after her mother left, but she and John were going to have to have a talk about surprises; handing me a big fat bonus check, good surprise; her mother, bad one. Jeez, was my mom flirting with Johnny? Oh, man. Le’ could only shake her head; and she thought Xavier was a bad influence on me?
This was not the surprise I was expecting, a great job Le’ or something like that, damned sure didn’t expect my mother. She paused just for a moment. Then again, there is a good chance that mother was watching last week when X and I had stepped into the ring, and we all know how we stepped out of the ring. For all I know, dear ol’ Mom could have already been making plans to come over just as soon as the old Lioness saw that her Firstborn was around the one person in the world she didn’t want her around.
Le’ shook her head again and made a vow that if she were to ever have children, her Firstborn would not go through the trials and tribulations that she had to go through. She would let her daughter choose who she wanted to marry. If I choose not to have children, Helene’s first born will follow in my footsteps as Firstborn, then again, should I give up having kids just to stick it to my mother?
Vincent Wolf. Le’s smiled slightly. You know, a long time ago, when X and I first started-- She paused for a moment, trying to figure out just what it was they started. --I guess you can call it dating; although it was more mutually using each other to get even with my father; I could never understand why he wanted to keep it away from his family. He was right, you all wouldn’t understand. You all wouldn’t have seen past what I was-- the enemy; to see who I was-- the woman that your brother fell in love with, changed him and made him a better man, the one you hoped he would one day be. I would have stuck out like a pure white sheep in a herd of black ones; I would not have been welcomed into your family, not like you all would have IF I had been Allison, she was practically a Wolf to begin with having been raised around you all. She would have been acceptable, because she was one of you. I would not have been; sure you all may have put up a pretty good act to make it seem like you approved, but behind closed doors the whole lot of you would have been questioning my motives and reasoning and wondering why. Why? Plain and simple; we fell in love. Surely you understand what it’s like to fall in love, Vincent, Xavier said that you damned near fell in love with VooDoo the moment that Damon Riggs dropped her in your bed. And she basically “belonged” to an enemy, but you all almost welcomed her with open arms just because your family saw the change in you because of her. She chuckles a little bit. Who would have thought Xavier and I would become the Romeo and Juliet of the Wrestling World with both our families not approving of the ones we love. She got quiet. When we all step into the ring, Vincent, I want you to remember one thing, your brother and I trained very closely in the ring with one another, so having been trained with a Wolf, I know how to fight like a Wolf, but I also fight with a Fury.
Le’Andra grew quiet for a moment as she thought about the coming match.
Xavier-- She grew quiet again. I will see you at Injustice 4 All.
Le’Andra had no more words for her “estranged” husband. The match coming up would be no different between them than fighting it out in her father’s gym; only difference was he had his brother in his corner; she would have Stylez and Insurgence would be there as well.
Michael Maddox, Enforcer--- Insurgence, I don’t know too much about you, Michael, other than you hang around with Enforcer; and Enforcer; I know of him and all I have to say about that, sorry that’s who your partner is. You would have thought that as long as he’s been in the business that he would have gotten better, but clearly he hasn’t. He’s still hanging in there just below that main event status; I am sure that over the years he’s tried getting up there, maybe even lucking out with being at the right place at the right time and getting in a few of them and even winning some against talent just like him. The two of you, you’re going to need all the luck you can get with this match. Not only are you stepping into the ring with the Wolf Brothers, but you will also be stepping into the ring with the Syndicate. Honestly, if you ask me, Insurgence should just sit back and let the Wolves and us destroy each other and then the two of you attempt to destroy which of us who are left standing. She smiled. Notice how I say attempt? Right now with the tag team titles on the line, I don’t think anyone but Johnny and I are hungry enough for them. She smirks. Come to think of it, maybe the two of you should just sit this one out, save what little bit of face you have left.
Le’ grew quiet again and just as she went to open her mouth and speak, she heard Chan call her name from inside. He and her mother were back from shopping.
There goes my quiet time.
The door to the balcony opened and Chan stuck his head outside. I tried keeping her out longer, Le’. I really did. But she was ready to come home. But the good thing is, she wants to lay down.
Good.
But--
There’s always a but with her. Le’ shook her head with a smile.
But she wants you to come see what she bought you. He smiled. I think you’re gonna like what she got you though; I guess it’s true Mother’s know their children.
Why couldn’t I have been hatched?
Le’Andra and Chan laughed as she got up from where she was sitting and made her way over to the door. She looked inside to see her mother in the sitting area with a sea of bags around her; all Le’ could do was shake her head; if anything, she inherited her shopping gene from her mother.
