Just As Eddie is heading out of the dressing room towards the car park. He suddenly noticed a couple of Tuck's clowns standing at the end of the corridor, suddenly the clowns noticed Eddie and slowly blocked off the end of the corridor.
"Seriously, is there something that you two want?" Asked Eddie. As he starts to clench his fists.
"Now, now Eddie boy. Calm down I wanted to congratulate you on your victory tonight" said Gabriel, as the clowns stand to the side. Exposing The man behind, a lit cigarette in his mouth. "You did well, somehow you managed to walk out of the ring. With any injuries" commented Gabriel. In between puffs on his cigarette
"Honestly, you came to congratulate me on my match, or is this just a front for something else?" Asked Eddie. Gabriel takes the cigar out of his mouth and looks at the lonely biker. "Eddie, Eddie. I will see you next week, be ready." Stated Gabriel as he slowly turns and walks off. Followed by both of the clowns
Eddie takes a moment to let the recent events unfold in his head. Slowly a grin appears, as he shakes his head and continues to head towards the car park. To meet up with the rest of his club.
On the Wrights Farm, the Skulls of Grimm have taken up temporary residence on one of the fields, just off from the main road. They have unloaded a couple of mobile units and pitched a few tents up.
Eddie is sitting outside of one of the mobile units, He is taking a moment to relax, after his recently busy schedule. Cole is also still on the other side of the doorway. While the rest of the club members are out on the field, either sitting in the sun or just working on their bikes.
"So are you planning on sticking about for a bit, or do you need to head off for another show." Asked Cole as he is enjoying his cold Budweiser. Eddie briefly looks to his left, before focusing his sight back on to the guys in the field.
"No, I'm sticking around for a while. It was a busy week last week, moving the club to the States, me flying out to Romania for the SEE PPV. Picking up a huge earnt victory, flying back for the Injustice For All Show in Washington, D.C. yet again picking up a huge victory." Explained Eddie.
"It will be good for the guys, to see you here while we are getting ourselves settled here. Not to mention the fact that we have those Clowns nearby and that Insurgence lurking in the shadows!" Said Cole.
"Don't sweat it, bro, as far as I'm concerned my business is finished with the Insurgence at the moment. I got my revenge against Rivers for the weeks of brutal beatdowns. The icing on top was the fact that the rest of them honestly thought they were going to beat me down again. How wrong they were." Eddie replied.
"You managed to make quick work of them as they came down to the ring" Cole commented with a big grin on his face. "I managed to see it coming this time around," said Eddie while leading back in his seat.
"As a result, little Alexis Skye was unable to take part in her match later on in the night. As a result of a twisted ankle, I think it was" said Cole. With a look of disbelief on his face, as to what he just said out loud. "Twisted ankle or not. She needed up missing out on a title shot opportunity, due to their need to show dominance as me" explained Eddie.
Cole downs the rest of his bud, before tossing the empty bottle into a nearby trash bin. "To be fair, beating Rivers and showing them all up on PPV. Was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders." Said, Eddie
"So what now?" Asked Cole. As he reached into the cool box and pulled out another beer, holding it up. Eddie shook his head in response before Cole opened the bottle and took a mouthful.
"For now, I'm done with the Insurgence. The time will come for the rest of them. Then I will settle the score with the rest of them. Now, it is all about the best of five series. Now it is time to prove that to Tuck, that I can beat him, and do it by wrestling under the prestige rules." Said Eddie. "Well, he will be able to do what it takes to win, well not in front of the referee." Said Cole
"It wouldn't surprise me if he managed to take a few short cuts. It's just the way he is. I will need you guys to keep an eye on the clowns during the match. As for his new friends in the Syndicate, I dare say Mr Wright will have something in store for them and Johnny Stylez." Said Eddie.
"So it is official then! Tuck joined the Syndicate?" Asked Cole. Looking over to Eddie for conformation. "It seems like it was the price for finally beating his rival Chamber." Said Eddie, as he sat forward on his chair.
"So to finally rid himself of Chamber, the man that you beat for the Youngblood title. He agreed to join the Syndicate." Stated Cole. "It would seem so I get the impression that he didn't trust me to help him get the job done. Instead, he would rather align himself with Styles and the rest of the Syndicate." Explained Eddie, looking a little confused how things have managed to snowball over the last few weeks.
"I have heard that OPW has now introduced a commissioner to deal with the infighting between Roger and Johnny," said Cole.
"Oh right, not sure that this will sort things out any time soon," Eddie explained as he pushed himself up to this feet. "I'm going to head out for a ride, I need to clear my head. Not much longer until the event." Said Eddie as he headed over to his motorcycle.
Moments later he rode out of the field and sped down the main road, leaving a cloud of smoke.
Later that evening. Eddie is sitting on the floor next to his motorcycle by the side of the road, a few miles from The Wright farm.
Taking the time to review the events from the last few events. Eddie is sitting down in the darkness. His elbows are resting on his knees with his hand wrapped around the top of his head.
"Showcase 9, the Tag Team Warz. One night tournament, with a lot more than just wins and losses on the line. At one point, teaming with Tuck actually seemed like a good idea. Even though I lost to him at the previous show. Maybe he would bring something to the match, that I couldn't or won't do myself. As soon as the match was made, I remember regretting the decision. Team building exercise, more like setting me up for a fall. On the off chance, he wanted to see how far I would go. In the end, any chance of advancing to the next round disappeared."
He removes his hands from the back of his head and let his lower arms fall forward towards his feet. Moving his feet slightly in an attempt to get comfortable
"The following week at Showcase 10, Tuck had made the decision to align himself with the Syndicate in order to take out his hated rival. The same guy I beat to become the Youngblood champion. Whether it was the hatred towards Chamber, or knowing that I did in one match that he never could do, beat Chamber in the middle of the ring."
He leans forward moving his hand back toward his knees in an attempt to get comfortable once again.
"It was then announced that I would be yet again, facing Tuck. This time in the best of five series for the newly created Prestige title. Tuck might need the title, to make sure Johnny keeps him in the group. I need the title, no I want that title to cement myself in the OPW history book. The first-ever Prestige champion, the first person to hold two different championships."
Finally, Eddie climbs back to his feet. As he walks around his bike, he kicks a large stone across the floor
"I have had enough, no longer will I be pushed around, beat down for someone else's glory. I am the future prestige champion, the future of Prestige division!"
After a while, Eddie climbs back on to his motorcycle, starting the engine before speeding down the road heading back to the farm.
"Seriously, is there something that you two want?" Asked Eddie. As he starts to clench his fists.
