At the Wright farm as Eddie Havok passes beyond the horizon, another visitor arrives at the camp of the Skulls of Grimm. Several visitors in fact.
Gabriel Tuck, Sticky, Hehehe, and Hahaha pull up on motorcycles to be met by Cole, Liam, and a couple of prospects greet them at the edge of camp. Cole taking the lead since he is second in command.
Cole: What do you want, Gabriel. Eddie isn’t here. You should be on your way.
Gabriel smiles, dismounting from his motorcycle, and motioning for the others to follow suit.
Tuck: Is that any way to greet a business partner? I brought Eddie his cut from the gig in Paxton that we did. I also brought some booze to celebrate.
Gabriel motions to his companions and they pull out beer and several bottles of Jack Daniels from the saddlebags of their bikes. Gabriel presents a large roll of hundreds with a wide grin.
Tuck: Eddie and I might be on opposite sides of the ring at this upcoming show, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t be buddies.
Cole: I don’t see how we could be friends when you two are going to face each other five times to see who the Prestige champion is going to be, but fine. Come on in.
Gabriel Tuck and the Clowns join the Skulls of Grimm in a celebration. Gabriel passes the money to Cole to hold onto for Eddie. They all find places to sit around the fire to drink some beer and whiskey.
Cole: So, you think you’re going to defeat Eddie in the ring at this upcoming show?
Tuck: I think I have a good chance. I mean, I did defeat him in the ring at the last time we met.
Cole: You don’t think that he might have gotten your style down and find a way to defeat you?
Gabriel takes a swig of Jack Daniels and shrugs before passing the bottle to Cole.
Tuck: I suppose that could happen. We have five matches to determine who will be the top star of the Prestige division so I can afford a loss or two.
Cole takes a tug of the bottle of Jack Daniels and passes it back to Gabriel, who sets it down so that he can light a cigarette.
Tuck: Isn’t Eddie going to be back soon?
Cole: No idea.
Tuck: Well, make sure he gets the money when he gets back. We have to meet up with some new prospects for the club.
Cole looks around at Sticky, Hehehe, and Hahaha who are all sitting by the fire.
Cole: Good luck with that.
Tuck: Yup. Tell Eddie good luck to him too. He’ll be needing it.
Gabriel Tuck and his Clowns get ready to ride away. Gabriel dialing his cell phone as he speeds away. Cole and Liam stand at the edge of the campsite while watching them go.
Cole: That was a brief visit.
Liam: I wonder why he didn’t wait for Eddie to get back?
It isn’t ten minutes before police lights can be seen in the distance. It’s with a sense of dread that Cole greets the police, several cars worth, at the edge of camp.
Cole: Rest assured we have the permission of the farm owner to be here.
Policeman: We’re here on account of the child pornography that you are holding onto. We have a warrant to search the campsite.
Cole: Go ahead and look. We have nothing of the sort.
The police start searching the tents while Cole gets on the phone with a frown. Why would they think that there was child porn here?
Cole: Eddie, get back here. I think we have a problem.
That problem is magnified when the police come out of everyone’s tents except for Eddie with external hard drives and flash drives that Cole does not recognize.
The policeman comes back to Cole, this time with a pair of handcuffs.
Policeman: We’re going to place all of you under arrest for possession. We will be checking these drives with a fine comb. If there’s any child porn...you’ll be going away for a long time.
Gabriel Tuck. Had to be him and his gang planting evidence. This was going to get ugly fast.
Cole: Fuck.
