May 29, 2020 - 4:30p - Backseat of a Limo Heading into Death Valley
Le'Andra Fury-Wolf sat between her husband, Xavier Wolf and her tag team partner as in the back of a limo while they discussed business. She sat there and listened as they told her of all the different things that they have seen and done when they have dropped acid in the past. Le’ looked back and forth between the two of them with a slight smile on her face. She had never done anything like this before; she had seen what it did to her family and friends and had wanted no part of it. But Johnny had insisted on this “team building” exercise and Xavier said “let’s do it” and here they were in the back of a limo with camping gear in the trunk.
Tell me again why we couldn’t go shopping in Miami like Blair is?
The men grew quiet for a moment, as if they were thinking of a good answer.
You are my tag team partner is the first thing. Johnny started, sounding rather diplomatic about it. And I just think we need to get to know each other on a different level.
And I am not letting you get to know Johnny on a different level without me being there. X added. I don’t care if we were tripping in a mall, not going to happen.
See, we could have gone tripping in the mall. Le’Andra told them. While shopping. She shook her head. Next time I get to pick the whole team building location.
The limo driver had found them a nice quiet picturesque place with some nearby rocks if they decided to go exploring and helped them put up the massive glamping tent with a couple of cots while Le’Andra was unpacking the food and drink. By the time everything was done, the sun was nearly set and Johnny was paying the limo driver and telling him to be back at 9am to pick them up.

Hours later, the tripping trio is sitting around a firepit. Xavier was sitting there, listening to Le’ and Johnny’s conversation; with a smile on his face. He’s never seen his wife on anything but alcohol; which she handles like a champ, so this, this had him amused.
You know-- the Superdome is coming up on selling its naming rights. You could almost see the hamster turning starting to run on the wheel inside Johnny’s brain.
You should buy it.
You and shopping. Xavier shook his head. Even back when they were ‘slumming it’ around Europe, his wife had to go shopping in every major city they went to. She sent most of her purchases back home; but she still felt the need to shop.
You know, I should buy it. Johnny nodded his head. Brazzers’ Superdome.
PornoDome. Le’ said.
Oh, my god. Le’, that's awesome. Johnny looked over at Xavier. This one's a keeper man, do whatever you have to do to keep her.
Already am. Xavier took a drink from the beer he was holding.

Johnny is staring at Xavier. Eyeing him hard. Johnny looks over at Le’ and pulls the chair she is in closer to him; this causes X to raise an eyebrow. He leans in and whispers to her; never taking his eyes off of X. Le’, stopped laughing and listened to Johnny before her eyes shifted to her husband. After a moment, both Le’ and Johnny leaned back in their chairs.
Ask him. Johnny encouraged her; Xavier watched them both as he took a drink from a beer.
Are you a cop? Xavier spit out the drink that threatened to choke him.
What the fuck? Xavier said in between coughs.
All I am saying is, he’s got to tell us if he’s a cop. Johnny leaned back in the chair he was sitting in with a smug look on his face because he just knew that at this point in time, Xavier was a cop.
Le’ leaned back in her chair. Did I marry a cop?
Xavier rubbed his temple a few times. This was going to be an interesting night.
May 31, 2020 - 1:16a - Somewhere in Death Valley
Le’Andra is perched high above on a nearby desert cliff looking down on Johnny Stylez and her husband, Xavier Wolf; they looked tiny and small. She was barefoot and squatting down; there’s a water bottle on the rocks in front of her, her elbows resting on her knees; the wind blew slightly through her long blonde hair.
Thanks for trying to cause me to question Xavier and his love for me, Allison; but I know he loves me. He’s already shown me. That night that he came in the window at my apartment, he proved it to me, when he handed me that piece of paper. That check, the big fat check that my Mother gave him. Do you know how many zeros were on that check? As many as you and your father have in your bank accounts. He could have moved on with all the whores and drugs in the world, but he didn’t. He came back to me. It wasn’t a chance meeting that he and his family were eating dinner that night in New York; he was there hoping to run into me; hoping to get a chance to talk to me without actually having to come to my apartment. She smiled a little. But I didn’t react quite the way he was hoping I would.
She shrugged her shoulders a little.
But seeing him there and having a good time, just set the mood. Not sure as to why you’re so worried about my relationship and how long it lasts with X. Is it because you wished your last name was Riggs-Wolf instead of Riggs-Preston? You’ve been in love with him for how long? Love doesn’t go away, not when you feel them deeply for another person. There have been many women who have taken vows and built a whole life with one man, all while harboring feelings for another. You wouldn’t be the first woman to do it, nor will you be the last.
She chuckles a little bit.
One thing is for sure, you are a chip off the old block as you put it. My Dad, back when he was training me, would show me videos of your dad and tell me all about his experiences with him and I have to agree, you sure know how to run your mouth like him. Make no mistake, wrestlers can learn a lot from watching your Dad, but that temper of your all’s is what gets you in trouble. That ego, that “I am better than everyone“ aura that you throw out, makes people dislike you, even if they respect your talent in the ring or your ability. But in the end, I guess whether they are talking good about you or talking bad about you; at least they are talking about you, right? Imagine your life, if they just didn’t give a crap about you?
She picks up the bottle of water and takes a drink, some of it spilling out the corners of her mouth. She wipes the mouth with the back of her hand.
Wait until I call my dad and tell him that I am stepping into the ring with Damon HavoK Riggs. He’s probably going to say something like-- isn’t he a little too old for that? Truth be told, maybe you should have sat this one out? Maybe you should have let the young ones have their run? But no, you couldn’t have that. Like your little prodigy, ARP said, who else can claim that fame of being a father and daughter tag team? That’s that vanity thing, that ego thing showing. You saw what your daughter was doing, Damon, what the Wolves were doing, what Anicka was doing and you were feeling like you were being left out; being left behind. You wanted to prove to everyone that you could still do your thing in the ring. That you haven’t become all fat and lazy with all the jet setting travel you’ve been doing. I couldn’t imagine being on vacation and everyone asking why you weren’t back in the States supporting your Pack?
She smiles.
I can answer that. Fear. You were afraid to step into the ring with those that you once dominated against and losing to them. You had lost your style, you had lost your flair, you were scared that you couldn’t go the distance anymore.
She paused for a moment.
So what changed? Was it the injustices that you’ve watched committed against your family from afar? Is it because you want to somehow stick it to Stylez and the Syndicate for all that they are doing wrong? Couldn’t have been that could it? Wouldn’t you have come back long before that? Would you have left your family suffering that long at our hands? She shook her head. I am still leaning towards that vanity and ego thing myself. As a wrestler, it’s one of things that we all have and eventually get; that ego. That feeling that we are better than everyone else in the ring, no matter who they are or how good they are or aren’t. It’s about taking that one shot and making it for all it’s worth.. And this is it. Your one last shot to finally mean something to people again, instead of an aging wrestler that kids are told stories about.
She pauses for a moment.
So, it’s here. That last shot for you and your daughter to live that dream together.
What are you doing? Xavier’s voice asked.
I am a Lioness, a daughter of Rusla, the Red Maiden, a legendary skjaldmo warrior who led a viking fleet to Ireland. She said, her voice rising a little with pride.
Woman, get down from there before you fall and break your neck.
Xavier’s tattooed hand comes into view and the scene pans out and Le’Andra is not perched hundreds of feet in the air but is standing on top of a rock that was less than five feet away and only as tall as him.
But this is where the dragons land. Le’Andra said matter of factly as she looked into the starry sky; obviously looking for a dragon. And I want a dragon.
If you get down, I will get you a dragon.
Le’ looked down at him. You promise?
I promise.
Pinky promise? Le’ held out her pinkie to him.
Pinkie promise. X shook pinkies with her and then she let him help her down. She had a big smile on her face as she ran over to Johnny who was opening up another beer. Oh my God, Johnny, guess what X is going to do? He’s going to get me a dragon.
Man, don’t do it. He told X when he got over to them. This one time I tripped, I got a dragon. Do you know how much it costs to feed one of those things? I was stuck with it for two days. He shook his head. Never ever buy a dragon. I am serious, don’t let her talk you into it. You will regret that shit.

Le’Andra and Johnny are again eyeing Xavier.
I don’t know how they do it over in your country, Le’, but in our country if you’re an undercover cop and someone asks you if you’re an undercover cop, they have to tell you.
Are you an undercover cop? Le’ asked her husband again. You can tell me. I won’t be mad.
If I was you, I would be mad. Johnny said. Just sayin'
No, I am still not an undercover cop.
I don’t know about you, Le’. Johnny again leaned towards her. But that sounds like something that an undercover cop would say.
That’s it. X shook his head and chuckled. No more shit for the two of you.
May 31, 2020 - 8:22a - Somewhere in the Death Valley
Le’Andra stood there in the tent, drinking from a bottle of water. Right now her throat was as dry as the terrain they had spent the night in and she felt like shit. The tent flap opened and a form came in against the bright sunlight that she shielded her eyes from. Le’Andra and Xavier look down at Johnny who’s still passed out on the cot.
He have a good night? Xavier asks, nodding toward Johnny.
An interesting one, I’d bet. She takes a drink of water, and hands him the bottle. How was yours?
Very enlightening. Xavier says, pulling his cellphone out of the saddlebag on the head of his cot. I’ll be right back.
Where are you going? Le’ asks, a glare and gleam in her eyes.
To raise the dead. Xavier says as she watches him leave the tent.
I should probably do the same.
She walks over to where Johnny is sleeping and pours the cold water on him. He sits up trying to block the stream of water pouring onto him with one hand and wiping his face with the other.
Hey!! What the Hell?? Le’ stopped pouring as Johnny sat up.
Car will be here soon. We need to get packed up.
We need a drink.
May 31, 2020 - 8:49p - LowLife Tattoo, Death Valley Junction, CA
Le’Andra sat in the tattoo chair with Xavier sitting in a chair beside her. He held her hand as the tattoo artist worked on her ankle. Le’ was smiling and half listening to the conversation between X and the man putting the ink on her ankle.
There you go, all done. The guy slid his chair back and grabbed a handheld mirror and held it up so that Le’ could see the finished work.
On Le’Andra’s ankle was a small black dragon not quite the span of her hand, holding a small red heart in its hands with today’s date on it.
I love it. It’s beautiful. Le’Andra smiled real big as she slipped from the chair and Xavier took his place to get the same tattoo in the same place. All she could think about was Xavier had kept his promise to her, he got her a dragon.
My legs aren’t as pretty as hers. X joked with the guy and pulled his pant leg up.
But this one will be just as smooth as hers by the time I am done. He waved the shaving cream and disposable razor from the shelf behind him.
